Brae Burn Country Club Wedding

Sasha and Andrew hosted their classic and timeless New England wedding at the prestigious Brae Burn Country Club in Newton, Massachusetts. Brae Burn Country Club has been around since the late 1800’s and has been host to a number of historic moments in the world of golf. This location was chosen as it held a special place for the bride, who grew up nearby. The bride wore a beautiful contemporary A-line wedding gown while her groom donned an impeccably tailored formal white tuxedo jacket embroidered with a small square of his family tartan in the inner lining—a nod to his roots. Dramatic clouds overhead made for some stunning portraits, and despite the clouds, the couple’s sunny energy was obvious. The couple wanted that energy to come through in their wedding photos with a plethora of candid moments. The grounds of Brae Burn Country Club are absolutely spectacular, with an expansive outdoor patio, meticulously manicured gardens and lawns, and dramatic aged trees set the stage for this joyous affair. The al fresco ceremony took place on the well-appointed deck overlooking the grounds, with bridesmaids in soft pinks and lavenders paired with groomsmen in classic black tie attire. The indoor reception featured elegant floral arrangements echoing the soft color pallet of the wedding party. Rather than a traditional wedding cake, the couple opted for an elegant croquembouche, topped with a Polaroid of the newly betrothed couple taken that day! Sasha and Andrew had an infectious energy that permeated the entire day. Even now looking back at these photos, we can’t help but smile!
