INYEON STUDIO

in·yeon /een-yuhn/ (Korean) noun: Destiny, intertwined fates; esp. between people

There’s a Korean proverb: 옷깃만 스쳐도 인연 (even if you brush clothes with someone, it is destiny). That word for destiny, inyeon, is a term without a simple English correlate. Providence, fate, "the butterfly effect,” inyeon implies a centuries old buddhist concept that every relationship is the result of an uncountable number of past life interactions, an invisible thread that connects and tugs us toward one another. Inyeon compels presence, to see each moment as significant, to live with intentionality. We are inspired by inyeon and the practice it urges.

Welcome to INYEON STUDIO, a collection of imagery from our adventures around the globe, a way of sharing our love of travel and life with you.

As a way to give back to this beautiful place we call home, 20% of all print and postcard proceeds will benefit Ocean Conservancy, a nonprofit environmental advocacy group that works to protect the ocean and the communities that depend on it.
