Not only are these grooms talented performers, but also advocates for the LGBTQ+ community. After a heartbreaking experience with a wedding venue that refused them because they are gay, the couple shifted focus and decided that they would use their wedding to highlight and uplift queer talent in the wedding community. They planned their nuptials with an inclusive, tradition-busting mindset and crafted innovative and modern updates to wedding tradition that many other LGBTQ+ couples will want to use for their own big day including a gender neutral wedding party (all in black tuxedos), a unique ceremony entrance that gave equal weight to each groom, a custom “ring-flipping” ceremony, a drag performance and choreographed dance number, and a surprise fireworks display!
