La Quinta Resort Surprise Proposal and Engagement Session
When Jamison reached out to us to help document his surprise proposal to girlfriend (now fiancé!) Jasmine, we were so excited! Jamison planned to pop the question during a vacation in the fabulous La Quinta Resort and Club in La Quinta, California. La Quinta Resort and Club is a desert oasis in the Palm Dessert, just south of Palm Springs California. This historic estate, built in 1926, was first imagined as a community of adobe bungalows and has since grown to encompass hundreds of casitas and villas, pools, tennis courts, golf courses, and numerous delectable restaurants—the ideal romantic getaway. Jamison wanted to incorporate their recently adopted puppy, Katsu, for the proposal. While on a walk around the resort with Jasmine and Katsu, he surreptitiously put a custom bandana on the puppy reading, “Will you marry my dad?” Katsu ran to Jasmine, and upon reading the secret message, Jamison dropped to one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. She said yes! After documenting the surprise proposal, we were able to photograph some amazing engagement portraits around the resort with the desert sunset providing the perfect romantic backdrop!
