Martha’s Vineyard
A charming New England celebration in Edgartown, Massachusetts on Martha's Vineyard. Jill and Brandon were married at the Old Whaling Church and held their tented reception at the Dr. Daniel Fisher House and Gardens. The location was special for the couple, as they spent many summers at their family’s cottage on the vineyard. “It seemed inevitable that we would come back to the island to be married,” explained Jill. The church was chosen by the couple, both creatives, who selected a space that felt like a nod to the importance art played in their life together. Escort cards, each with a unique image inspired by the natural surroundings of the island along with a hand-bound guest book adorned with with love-inspired quotes and images. Guest were treated to a yellow boat raw bar of oysters and little necks. Place settings were marked with guests’ names dry-transferred onto collected seashells from the beach where Brandon proposed to Jill. When the party was in full swing, Jill and Brandon snuck away to check into their room at the Charlotte Inn around the corner on Summer Street. Brandon placed the shiny brass key in his pocket, and the couple returned to the party, a fitting a memorable end to a joyous occasion!
