PGA West Golf Course Wedding in Palm Springs California

Chelsea and Blair planned their destination wedding at PGA West, a grand resort and golf course tucked away in the Coachella Valley and nestled into the mountains of La Quinta, California. This luxury retreat boasts nine world-renowned golf courses all flanked by the picturesque San Jacinto Mountains. Cathy O’Connell of COJ Events planned Chelsea and Blair’s big day taking inspiration from the desert oasis and pairing it with lush greenery and modern gold and metallic accents. Florals by Redefined Events consisted of white roses and hydrangeas accented by cascading greenery to compliment the clean and timeless feel. Chelsea, the bride, chose a strapless lace gown with a plunging neckline paired with white strappy heels. The groom, Blair, sported a timeless black tuxedo paired with classic black leather oxfords. The couple prepared for their big day with their respective wedding parties: the bride celebrated with her bridesmaids at the lavish Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa, while the groom prepared at a private residence in La Quinta toasting his groomsmen with tequila on a private golf course. The ceremony site was set against the breathtaking backdrop of PGA West, where the desert meets the mountains. The bride and groom wove in Jewish traditions important to them such as signing the Ketubah before the ceremony. The wedding party, family, and the groom and bride were ushered down the aisle, where the couple exchanged personalized vows. After the ceremony, the couple was whisked away for romantic sunset portraits via golf cart to an intimate and secluded golf green overlooking a stone bridge walkway. After cocktail hour, guests made their way to the grand ballroom at PGA West, a stately but intimate space appointed with abundant florals, elegant china, and romantic candles. Gold metallic chairs offset the classic white linens, giving a modern and elegant presence. Chelsea and Blair, along with their family and guests danced the night away to the sounds of Ben Mallare Events & Entertainment, a spectacular live band who performed a mix of romantic classics and pop hits.
