Retro Gay Wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage

Danny and Andrew hosted their wedding at The Ritz-Carlton in Rancho Mirage, a gorgeous venue perched atop the Santa Rosa Mountains. This luxurious resort serves as a place to reconnect with the natural desert environment. But what made this wedding truly special was the presence of the grooms' furry friend, Oreo. Dressed in a dapper bow-tie and leash, Oreo was a true VIP, stealing hearts and posing for photos with his proud dads. Danny and Andrew also decided to incorporate Oreo in a few very special ways: he was the ring bearer and surprised all the guests during the ceremony by “fetching” the rings from across the aisle. After the ceremony, we took the grooms to a secret spot on the property with an outstanding view of the mountains and the resort. This year, we’ve gotten lots of rain (for Southern California) and the mountains overlooking Palm Desert were snow-capped, making for some incredible and romantic photos which encapsulated the essence of this unforgettable wedding.
